How to set up your T1Disciplined bot (plain-English guide)
Wellness and habit tracking only. Not medical advice. Not for treatment decisions. Talk to your care team.
Take your time. You can't break anything, and you can stop and come back later.
Before you start
- You need a Grok Bot account. This is Grok Bot, not the regular Grok app. If you only have regular Grok, the bot won't work.
- Have about 10 to 15 minutes and your phone or computer handy.
Step 1: Tap "Get the bot"
Tap Get the bot on the Get the bot page. It opens the T1Disciplined bot in Grok Bot.
Step 2: Add the bot to your Grok Bot
Follow the prompts on screen to add the bot to your account.
If you're asked to sign in, use your Grok Bot account.
Step 3: Your first conversation
Open the new bot and say hi. It will walk you through a short set of questions, one at a time, including:
- Your goals: target weight, average glucose and A1C goal (use the numbers your care team gave you), and daily exercise minutes.
- Where your glucose numbers come from: Libre, Dexcom, or screenshots/photos of other readings.
- The supplements or daily items you want on your checklist.
- What time zone you're in.
Answer in your own words. You can change any answer later by just telling the bot.
If it asks you to sign in to Libre or Dexcom, it will open a secure sign-in form. Type your login there, never in the chat.
What the bot does
- Morning and evening check-ins (meds checklist, carbs, protein, water, exercise).
- Tracks your trends over time: weight, average glucose, estimated A1C, habits.
- Sends you a 30-day chart and a supplements chart.
- Cheers you on when you hit a goal you set.
What the bot never does
- No insulin dosing advice.
- No carb-ratio or correction advice.
- No treatment alerts or emergency warnings. It is not a medical device. Keep using your CGM alarms and your care team's plan.
